As you see in the title, I will be with The Fishermen of Quy Nhon today. I came to Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Vietnam on a first day of summer on a business trip. Quy Nhon is in the south region of Vietnam. It is important and well known for temples, beaches, surroundings and especially its beautiful Thi Nai Lagoon. Quy Nhon is surrounded by Thi Nai Lagoon, the ocean and the mountains.
The city is nestled in a bay. This is well because of the protection from the effects of the hurricanes. The population of city is about 350,000 but compared to other coastal cities it is smaller. I think this is because of the absence of heavy industry and heavy traffic.
Maybe for the majority of travellers have no idea for the city, it remains relatively off the beaten track and this little corner of Vietnam has been not discovered by the majority of travelers. Yes, This is the fact.
But tourism is improving in the city, specially local tourism with a very fast rise….so how to get here…

The easiest way to come here to fly to Phu Cat Airport (UIH). It was an American Airbase in 1966. Now it is used for domestic flights. Airport is located in north of the city about 36 km outside of town.

You can come here by bus from Da Nang or Hoi An but it takes around 6-7 hours with a spectacular scenery along the way.
The Quy Nhon bus station is in the south of the town so an alternative to bus you can take a direct train to come here. The line name is SQN.
The trains departs from Ho Chi Minh City arrive directly at the Quy Nhon Train Station for a fee 36 $.

The fishermen working there are to be glad to show you around. They generally live in Quy Nhon. Thanks to them, the freshest and most delicious seafood is eaten in restaurants.
People are fishing in a variety of ways in which using RO is a long-standing tool. Every morning, the big men pull the RO very early. They earn about 5-10 $ per day belongs to weather.
RO is tool to cach fish. They use their legs to pull the RO from the sea and catch fish. Afternoon, the women go out to dry and wash the RO. Waves in the afternoon are so big and so fishing trips on these boats are very dangerous, requiring healthy and skillful people.
