Kyaik Par Da Gyi Pagoda Trip
Thanlyin is situated on the southern part of the Bago River on the road to Yangon. Kyaik Par Da Gyi Pagoda is built on a hill on the road to Kyauk Tan.
It is an imposing golden stupa similar to the Shwe Dagon Pagoda. You can get here with a half-an-hour’s drive by car.
Looking east from the stupa you’ll see an enormous seated statue named Pada Gyi Statue.
I pray in peace and present my respects…
According to Buddhist belief, about 2500 years ago, Prince Siddartha reached Buddhahood after understanding the following four facts.
1. Life means suffering.
2. It is a source of pain.
3. It is possible to cut the pain.
4. There’s a way to feel no pain.
After I prayed, I wandered in the garden of the Pagodan.
I felt how happy I was to be here. I wish you to come and see. Because here is like a dream of your life..
