Ushuaia, The End Of The World and one of those places you can’t forget to travel…
Its amazing landscapes and the only idea of being at “the end of the world” makes it special.
It is located in Tierra del Fuego province, in the extreme of South America and it is surrounded by the Martial Mountains and the Beagle Channel.
Lots of cruises stop here before continuing its way to Antarctica.
Ushuaia is 3094 km away from Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina and it has 57000 inhabitants. It’s one of the most important ski centers in Argentina.
There are also a lot of tourists during summer time because there are many activities you can do, like trekking or going by ferry to see penguins and sea wolves colonies.,

-The Off Road Tour From Ushuaia
One of the best experiences I had when I was in Ushuaia was the off road tour in a land rover ( U$110).
We got to the regional lakes by secondary roads aboard a 4×4 vehicle, go deep into the forest …..
Escondido Lake park offers visitors camping and fishing and If need tent sites…
You can get to Fagnano Lake and Escondido Lake and there you even have a ride inside the lake.
This lake shared by Argentina and Chile. During the way you can see the beavers’ houses also and there’s a stop to enjoy a picnic by the lake.
At the end of this fantastic day we had dinner in a restaurant where we ate the most delicious Patagonic lamb.
-The Museum of the End of The World
Visit The Museum of the End of The World (fee U$15), which is very interesting because you can understand the story of the city.
Duration is 1 hour and museum is open in high season from 9am to 8pm. And If you want, guided visits contribute with much additional information.
-Navigation From Ushuaia in the Beagle Channel
Navigation in the Beagle Channel ( U$ 44 ) where you willl see the famous lighthouse “Les Eclaireurs” best known as “The End of the World Lighthouse”.
-Ride FromUshuaia To The End Of The World
Have a ride in the train of the end of the world (fee U$35, first class U$62, premium U$ 68). This train takes you for 7 km inside Tierra del Fuego National Park.

Of course you can’t miss the visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park ( fee U$5), which is 10 km from Ushuaia.
One of the trekking you can do in the Park is the coast path to reach the Acigami Lake (Roca Lake).
This lake shared by Argentina and Chile.
-Gastronomy
Besides all the beautiful views and all the great activities you can do, you should try the delicious gastronomy, like for example the king crab and black merluza together with a red beer.
