San Martín de los Andes is a tourist destination in the south west of Argentina. You have so many tour options from here. One of this tour options is Hua Hum Port and Around Trip.
Region is on the west side of Nonthué Lake in Lanín National Park and near the international border crossing in the Ande named Hua Hum Pass between Argentina and Chile.
Hua Hum Port Trip
Tour lasts aproximately 5 hours and aims to discover one of the wonders of the Argentina Patagonia and learn also about its indigenous Mapuche culture.
Area is 45 km far from San Martín de los Andes and only 659 meters above sea level, which means that dont closes due to snow fall and is open year-round.
As you can imagine, the landscape here is also dreamy about the coast of Nonthué Lake which also has camping area (Camping Don Bartolo), a small dock (Muelle Hua Hum) and a restaurant (Hostería Hua Hum)…..just a nice walk if you want to enjoy nature in Argentina
There you can find the Hua Hum River with a deep bluish green colour. It runs between steep banks, with milky turquoise waters, typical from thaw, heading for Chile and drains the waters of Lácar Lake in Argentina to Pirihueico Lake in Chile.
